How to connect to the Guesty API to Stay Luxe
This guide explains how to connect your Guesty account to StayLuxe using the Guesty Open API. Once connected, StayLuxe can synchronise your rates, bookings, availability, guest details and payment status according to the selected sync rules.
Before starting, make sure you have administrator access to your Guesty account. Your Client ID and Client Secret are private and will only be displayed once, so copy them carefully and store them securely.
This guide explains how to connect your Guesty account to StayLuxe using the Guesty Open API. Once connected, StayLuxe can synchronise your rates, bookings, availability, guest details and payment status according to your selected sync rules.
Security notice: Your Guesty Client ID and Client Secret are private. Guesty displays them only when the application is first created, so copy both values and store them securely. If either credential is exposed or lost, delete the old application in Guesty and create a new one.
Create Your Guesty API Credentials
1 Sign in to your Guesty account. In the side navigation menu, select Integrations.
2 Select OAuth applications, then select New application.
3 Enter StayLuxe as the application name. Add a description such as StayLuxe PMS integration, then select Save.
4 Copy both the Client ID and Client Secret. Keep them somewhere secure until they have been entered into StayLuxe.
These credentials are visible only once. Always keep real Client ID or Client Secret safe and secure.
Connect Guesty to StayLuxe
5 Sign in to your StayLuxe host account, select My Account, then open the PMS Integration tab.
6 In the Guesty Integration section, turn on the connection if required and select Manage API Credentials. Paste the Guesty Client ID and Client Secret into the matching fields, then select Save & Connect.
Configure the Guesty Sync Rules
7 Open Guesty Rules under Sync Policy Rules and select the following settings:
- Pricing Sync Mode: One-Way Inbound — read-only rates from Guesty to StayLuxe.
- Bookings Sync: One-Way Outbound — StayLuxe to Guesty.
- Calendar / Availability Sync: Two-Way Availability & Occupancy Blocks.
- Guest Details Sync: One-Way Outbound — StayLuxe to Guesty.
- Payment Status Sync: One-Way Outbound — StayLuxe to Guesty.
Select Save Guesty Rules after confirming all five settings.
Connect Your Guesty Listing
8 Select Link Guesty Listings, then choose the Guesty listing you want to connect to StayLuxe.
Your Guesty API is now connected to StayLuxe and will operate according to the saved Guesty sync rules.
